We are ready to assist you to do volunteering by being a part of our mission's various programs. You will get a excellent experience while helping the people of developing nation like Nepal. Nepal is rich for its natural beauty, we thank God for his creation. We are praying to God to get people like you who wants to serve as a volunteer in Nepal. We are ready to make your trip possible and a pleasant stay with a Nepal host family.  We are waiting and request you to grab the volunteering opportunities to  volunteering in Nepal.  We do our best to be flexible in all interests, needs and budgets towards the volunteers. We send our talented volunteers to the communities according to their interests. With our resources and your involvement as a volunteer, together we can ameliorate the lives of the Nepalese physically and spiritually. Rescue Mission honors to welcome you in Nepal. Our volunteering works provide motivation to individuals with unique short- and long-term opportunities to volunteer in Nepal. By helping others, volunteers offer their knowledge and experience to provide critical assistance to important humanitarian and other non-profit projects. At the same time, they also acquire new skills and grow both personally and professionally.  When volunteers register with Rescue Mission, we send them regular updates on upcoming projects. Once an individual decides to sign up for one, we will then send specific information related to the project and if they want, we will start Nepali language live online training and conversation immediately.

Volunteers can participate in local projects and stay with host family for a period of several weeks or months. In every professional activity, individuals can show their professional talents, including teaching English, working in a orphanage, working with street children s etc, and other important skills to help our organization manage and build its programs. Our volunteers are invited to fill in our application form specifying some other relevant information, their skills, motivations and experiences. If you would like to apply for one of our volunteering opportunities in mountainous region of Nepal or for an internship, please send your application. At the beginning of every project in another country, volunteer need some basic language training session. Rescue Mission is opened to all people regardless of race, nationality, religion, sex, education or physical ability. For legal reasons, we require written application here of volunteers over 18 years old. Once a volunteer commits, must contact us to let us know any changes of availability prior to the event, so a replacement can be found.

The climate and scenery of Tansen was wonderful. Waking up with beautiful sunrises to hiking through the peaceful forest of Shreenagar hill up to the Himilayas viewpoints, Tansen felt like a sanctuary from the rest of the world. Definitely one of the best places for enjoying the outdoors in Nepal.

I had a wonderful time volunteering in Nepal with Rescue Mission Nepal. Birkha and his wife Dhana took amazing care of us - always keeping us extremely well fed with great food and tea, and doing everything in their power to make us as comfortable as possible. It was a great blessing being able to serve here working with handicapped children through the local NGO and being able to form relationships with the children. It was also a lot of fun to have the opportunity to teach English classes for a month in a local school.

Staying with Rescue Mission Nepal has been a great experience.  The landscape is beautiful and Tansen is a great town.  Birkha and Dhana (his wife) are amazing hosts and worked very hard to make sure I was comfortable.  Dhana is an excellent cook.  The church community is very welcoming. There's plenty of work to do with the disabled children.  The disabled children were the highlight of my stay.  I also helped teach English in a local school (grades 1-12).  That was really fun since the kids and teachers were very happy to have a English speaking person there.
