Nepal is a
land-locked country that depends on its
agricultural products and on its natural
resources for the production of handicrafts to
remain independent. Handicrafts are the
prominent products of Nepal as they provide a
good value added percentage. In some remote
area's people are disadvantaged who rarely get
access to vocational and technical skills
training. The country's economy is still
predominantly based on agriculture, which is
heavily dependent on the monsoon
Even the
skilled workers graduate from the school face a
problem of lack of jobs. Through our volunteers
and mediators do our best to give them
encouragement for local community-based products
like handicrafts and agriculture for their daily
need.
"Nepal's
slow growth in recent years, high unemployment
rate, and large proportion is making the people
live below the poverty line. The majority of
Nepal's population lack access to the internet,
telephones or electricity and health care. Even
the illiteracy rate is high. Those who are
graduating with education in fields such as
technical school often leave to work abroad.
