Professional Training

Nepal is a land that depends on its agricultural products and on its natural resources for the economic development of the nation to remain independent. Handicrafts are a prominent product of Nepal as they provide a good value added percentage. The poor and disadvantaged people in remote area rarely get access to vocational and technical skills training so our volunteers are encouraged to stay there and give them the training. Though the skilled workers graduating from the school face a problem of lack of jobs ,we encourage them to join the short term courses which thus making them accessible to more trainees. Our volunteers are mediator to provide the Community-based training, short time handicrafts volunteer development for the local people, teacher trainer for rural schools and vocational training like tailoring, cutting, webbing, hand looms. The system of training in Nepal is different so the international volunteers are encouraged to use their own teaching methodologies and their own ideas on the respective fields. Rescue Mission acts as a mediator for the reliable sources and finds the resources for laborers to learn the skills and provides training and processing techniques for small scale of handicraft and replicates low cost training. The main aim to provide these trainings is to assist women and men financially especially in the remote areas so that they can support their families and can have some money for the education of their children and even the family. It is also good for there families. In addition, they will be encouraged to develop their own ideas and initiatives which can be the reason for being independent.
