"OUR COMMUNITIES"

We are situated in the hill station, a town but most of our villages are in remote areas.
 We  can see common source drinking water like pond and stagnant water  of some community people and their cattle and they pasture in the surroundings near the pond. They do not have clean drinking water and proper toilet facilities. Poor sanitation and poor hygiene make them more poor. The Doctors of our town say that about 80% of the patients who visit the hospital are suffering from the water borne diseases. Your English teaching help gives more opportunities for our further studies in the future. Your small help makes life deferent.

Rescue Mission offers volunteering program to its volunteers in diversified areas like teaching in a government school, working for children in orphanage, working in health and sanitation program, street children, women empowerment, community development and other various fields according to volunteer’s interests and choices of skills. Rescue Mission honors to welcome you in Nepal. Our volunteering works provide motivation to individuals with unique short- and long-term opportunities to volunteer in Nepal. By helping others, volunteers offer their knowledge and experience to provide critical assistance to important humanitarian and other non-profit projects. At the same time, they also acquire new skills and grow both personally and professionally.  When volunteers register with Rescue Mission, we send them regular updates on upcoming projects. Once an individual decides to sign up for one, we will then send specific information related to the project and if they want, we will start Nepali language live online training and conversation immediately.. Volunteers can participate in local projects and stay with host family for a period of several weeks or months. In every professional activity, individuals can show their professional talents, including teaching English, working in a orphanage, working with street children s etc, and other important skills to help our organization manage and build its programs. If you would like to apply for one of our volunteering opportunities in mountainous region of Nepal or for an internship, please send your online application. At the beginning of every project in another country, volunteer need some basic language training session. Rescue Mission is opened to all people regardless of race, nationality, religion, sex, education or physical ability. For legal reasons, we require written application arriving here of volunteers over 18 years old. Once a volunteer commits, must contact us to let us know any changes of availability prior to the event, so a replacement can be found. Thank you.
