Cost for volunteer in Nepal:

 

Rescue Mission Volunteer Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, working for the benefit of poor communities in rural parts of Nepal. Our programs are absolutely the most affordable in Nepal. Volunteering  in Nepal is more affordable than other international volunteering destination. The program cost goes for volunteer's expenses like room, food, application, placement and sight-seeing, etc. We believe that volunteer service is not just only for cost and services  but also for developing good co-operation & relation with each other as well, and also for sharing the innovative ideas and views both side. We are dedicated to keep the cost  down to assure that this is affordable for every volunteer. The prices for eight days program cost is $US 200. This cost covers your private room with attached bathroom and meal plan.
The volunteering period can be arranged from one to twenty weeks. The program fee is to be paid upon arrival in your accommodation. Cash payment can be made in US Dollars, Euros or Nepali or Indian Rupees here in Nepal.  We have designed if you are interest to stay in the rural home stay program which is cost much less. If you want to stay in village rural homestay accommodation with Nepali host family then please consider the following before you apply:

For rural homestay in Nepal, please consider the following if you want to stay in the village.:
Try your best to understand them and their culture. Some time you might get culture shock and you need handle your culture shock,  at times you may feel isolated, particularly when you arrive in a rural village knowing no one. Are you hungry to learn? You'll learn a new language, a new culture, a new way of life. Nepali people normally don't eat breakfast and eat an early lunch (around 9:-10:00 AM) and dinners are served around 7  in the evening. "khajaa" or Tiffin is offered during the day.

Can you take a shower without modern hot water and with out electricity in our rural homestay program? Are you aware that most volunteers experience illness at some point during their stay? Are you flexible here in developing countries like Nepal in particular deferent from your country? If you decide to Homestay in rural Nepal, you are welcome to the possibility for a personally enriching a life-changing experience in Nepal. so please contact us for this options for volunteers to choose.

This gives you 8 days volunteer program and Nepali language and training. The package gives you time to adjust to Nepal and learn about some very important cultural differences from your home. Nepali language  course gives you basic skills to help you communicate with local people in Nepal during your stay. We would like to ask you, in the circumstance you are no longer able to volunteer with us, You may not be able to volunteer with in your schedule at the time but you can still have a good effect on the people of Nepal.

We also recommend you bring extra money and plan to do some traveling while you are in Nepal. You will find it very cheap in Nepal compared to your own country. The other costs you will need:  Apart from the fees, other costs that are to be met by the our volunteers are: Visa fee, Air ticket costs, Medical and travel Insurance, Also you will need a weekly exposes for all your other personal items etc.

Our jungle camp would be located with spectacular views of the panoramic himalayas view from a hill, sunrise on the mountains and sunset the panoramic views of the landscapes and hills. You can breathe the cool mountain breeze in our camp site jungle or riverside. Our Jungle camp Cottage (tent) is one of those options which provide more of services and maximum of adventure for our guest and volunteers. the cottages camp offer the same view point experience to our guests, but at a lower budget. Our camp would be located far from town and traffic and closer to nature than any other noisy, so our guests volunteers can relax from sunrise to sunset accompanied by the music of the local birds and gentle sigh of the forest and river.
