Dhaka: the most popular handicraft cloth of Nepal comes from this region.

Karuwa:  a metal handicraft. The most popular bronze Nepali Jar (Karuwa) for every Nepalese household. It’s product here in Tansen. Palpa Ranighat: Visit the ancient palace in Ranighat, located on a massive rocky mountain at the bank of the KaliGandaki River, just walking 3 hours from Tansen. Tansen lies at 1350 meters and will feel wonderfully cool if you have just left the plains (Terai). The charming natural beauty combines with its rich cultural heritage to give visitors a peaceful rest. Just to the north of Tansen the forested hill of Srinagar provides views of the surrounding valleys and of the Dhaulagiri  Annapurna fishtail and many mountain ranges so you can enjoy the view of the Himalayas from Shreenagar hill and excellent day walks can be made from Tansen to Ranighat, one of the historical places in the north, kaligandaki river side and  Ridi bazaar in the west then we can view the Madi valley and hills in the south to  west.

The climate here is the most pleasant throughout the year.  We have to thank God for Its climate and natural beauty, green forests of Shreenagar  and the mountain views   are really breathtaking.  Spring and autumn are the two most favorable seasons here. Autumn starts from early September to early December and brings in more clear weather to view the Himalayans with sunny days and warm.  Spring starts from the beginning of March to the end of May with occasional rain falls. From June to September is the monsoon season but not much hot. Beginning of April to the end of October is warm weather in Tansen and warm cloths are needed from last of October, just you need Jackets in the evening. Winter season starts from December   to February. One must be equipped with sufficient winter wears like jackets, sweaters, trousers etc to stay prevented from the cold.
