Rescue Mission, An
evangelical small organization with big mission provides an volunteering
opportunity for those who are keen in serving poor and needy
people and are wiling to share their experiences in Nepal.
Disabled & Street Children
The disabled people are
physically handicapped but not mentally. If the
opportunities are given to them they can also do
the work as the normal person can do and we
believe even sometimes much better. What has
affected them most in today? world is the
DISCRIMINATION. There are many negative cultural
beliefs that are leading to considerable
discrimination towards people with disabilities
and are often isolated and rejected from their
communities.
Along with this, they are
facing the challenge of being disabled in a
country where poverty rates are extremely high
and where access to essential and specialized
rehabilitation services is extremely limited.
Nepal has always suffered from a harsh lack of
specialized services in physical rehabilitation.
It has less than a dozen of centers for the
whole country.
The projects aim to provide
training and guidance in physical rehabilitation
in the Community and rehabilitation program
facilitate their capacity building
